# Understand what your documentation actually contains.

The entry point. Before simplifying anything, you need to know what you have — and what you do not.

## The problem

Nobody in the company knows what the eight hundred procedures contain. **Nor what they leave out.**

Everyone knows there are duplicates, because they bump into them. Everyone knows there are contradictions, because an operator flags one now and then. But nobody has the map — and doing that reading by hand costs months of expert time.

The real blind spot is elsewhere: part of the working know-how is written down nowhere. It lives in three people's heads, and leaves with them.

**Maestro is under development.** This video comes from the MVP — the product running today, not the final platform. As of today, Maestro is used only within Sinfony consulting engagements.

## What the module does

Six functions, as they appear to the people who use them.

1

### Your documents go in as they are

PDF, Word, archives, several languages mixed together. No preparation work upstream: the corpus goes in as it stands.

2

### Every document is broken into grains

A clause, a bullet, a sentence, a table: the smallest unit of information that still means something. That is what makes the rest possible.

3

### Your in-house vocabulary is extracted

Glossary and abbreviations come straight out of the corpus. Often it is the first time they exist as a list at all.

4

### Administrative noise is set aside

Headers, footers, revision boxes, repeated boilerplate: anything that is not business content is removed before the analysis.

5

### Duplicates and contradictions surface

Two passages saying the same thing, or two contradicting each other, are pulled together side by side for arbitration.

6

### The gap map

What the corpus says nowhere although the process requires it. The deliverable nobody expects and everybody keeps.

## Two kinds of company, two uses of the same module.

Regulated large enterprises

### Finally know what eight hundred documents contain.

You have too much documentation to re-read, and no way to prove it is consistent. The analysis produces the map nobody ever had time to draw.

- An exhaustive read of the corpus, not a sample
- Contradictions surfaced before an inspector finds them
- A quantified starting point for a simplification programme

Expert SMEs & mid-market

### Discover that the essentials were written down nowhere.

You have few documents, and the real know-how lives in a handful of heads. The analysis measures exactly the gap between what is written and what is done.

- The share of know-how that exists only verbally, quantified
- Your in-house vocabulary written down
- Enough to decide where to invest first
